The Eyo black is made from aso oke inspired by the Eyo Adimu Orisa,the name Adimu Orisa means one who is clad from the head to toe in a native cloth and wears a wooden mask with a protruding but close nose.
The Eyo Green is made from aso oke inspired by the Eyo Orisa Ologede,the Ologede function as a peace guarantor. He reassures peace in the society. Seven days before the festival, the Ologede engages in series of rituals in order to make the festival a peaceful one Ologede bestow peace, harmony and prosperity for the coming year. Ologede
is also attributed to be the spirit that brings prosperity as banana symbolies fertility in Yoruba religion. Fruitfulness is the very height of prosperity.
